DescriptionRucker has consulted with the Chairman of the Government Grant Review Committee on the subject of Abney's letter of the 5th. The Society agrees that under the circumstances it is desirable that Abney write officially to the Astronomer Royal and Professor Turner as Abney proposes. The Secretaries will bring the matter before the Council so that any doubts as to what action is to be taken in future may be authoritatively decided.
