TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to J H Grindley
Date8 January 1899
DescriptionIs forwarding Grindley the original diagrams and drawings to his paper. As to the photograph showing the general view of the apparatus, its reproduction was not undertaken because it was not specifically recommended by the referees. Harrison has however submitted the question to the Secretaries whose instruction is to take out the reference to the photograph in the text and not to reproduce the photograph as such general views are not sufficiently important when the apparatus is full illustrated by sectional drawings.
