TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Henry Woodward, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 January 1900
DescriptionHarrison received the letter from Messrs Fry with a cabinet copy from the large photograph of Sir William Flower which Woodward lent. Can now return this.

In their letter Fry and Sons say they are making an enlarged negative of the head and bust only, and both Sir M Foster and Harrison think this would be much the more suitable form of the photograph to have for the obituary notice, that they propose to wait for it.

The photographers ask which paper the portrait is to appear in as they want to charge a fee for reproducing it, but Harrison thinks they would hardly make this claim in the case of a publication of the Royal Society. Returns the Messrs letter and cabinet portrait [not enclosed].
