TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Joseph Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 February 1889
Description'Dear Sir,
The diagram which you handed to me a day or two since has been put in hand, but the Treasurer wishes me to ask you how many cuts there will be to this new paper. If there are likely to be more than one or two simple [four words underlined] cuts the Treasurer much prefers (especially in the present state of our finances) that he should have the whole of the diagrams before him before the work proceeds any further, in order that we may get a total estimate in the regular way,
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
