TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs May & Williams
Date8 March 1888
DescriptionComplains that the man the agency sends to deliver the paper does not, as he claims, arrive before 8, but in fact regularly arrives a few minutes to a quarter of an hour after 8. If it is not resolved they will change to another agency. As Rix has stated orally, every time this occurs an extra journey of 136 stairs is required. Futhermore, it is not necessary to ring the bell as the porter goes to the letter box promptly at eight to collect letters and packets anyway.
