TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Harry Govier Seeley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date21 April 1888
DescriptionNotes that Seeley's paper on mammalian teeth will be treated as a 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' paper, and Rix has put in hand the diagrammatic illustrations for its reading next Thursday, though those to be drawn from nature cannot be done in time.

Rix sends three sets of sketches of figures which he understands are to be drawn from nature, and asks if Seeley will ask Miss [Gertrude] Woodward to do item 2, who will then send an estimate to Rix. He advises that Woodward acquire her blocks from Mr Collings who makes all the Society cuts for 'Proceedings'.
