TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Harry Govier Seeley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date20 December 1887
DescriptionConcerns illustrations for Seeley's paper on Therisdesmus phylorchus which had been ordered for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', with Rix having received one plate from Miss [Gertrude] Woodward. Rix asks who Seeley would like to do the woodcut plate, suggesting that should Woodward be too busy, he could ask Robert Morgan, who occasionally works for the Linnean Society. Emphasises the urgency of the matter and the need for an estimate as soon as possible from whichever artist is chosen.
