TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr John Hopkinson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 July 1888
DescriptionRix sends proofs of his figures and asks that Hopkinson does not make extensive alterations to the text of his paper as it is already in pages, further noting that the cuts must appear on the plates and cannot be transferred to the text. He has sent the original drawings with the proof plates, and asks that they are returned with the corrected proofs.

Rix apologises for the wait for the figures, but asks that Hopkinson return the corrected text and proof as quickly as he can, as the rest of 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' is now complete and waiting for press.
