DescriptionIn response to Colquhoun's letter of 8 February, Rix informs him that the President and Council of the Royal Society have decided to place the name of the Mitchell Library on the list of institutions entitled to received 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' and 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' at no cost. Rix asks if the communication received from Messrs McGeadry & Company, that 'Proceedings' is to be posted to them, is correct. It will be necessary to apply for 'Transactions' each time they wish it to be delivered.
