TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dixon Kemp, 29 Linden Gardens, Bayswater Road, W.
Date2 December 1887
DescriptionRefers to an entry in the Royal Society's journal book on 20 November 1861 concerning Sir William Petty's ship, and several subsequent entries, though none of these match the date specified by Kemp. Rix recommends that Dixon obtains permission from the Council, as he will then be allowed to make extracts and Rix will be able to assist further in obtaining the information which is required.
