TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Cambridge Scientific Instrument Company
Date26 September 1888
DescriptionAlthough Rix does not know Dr Michael Foster's present address, he has the authority of the Royal Society's Treasurer to proceed with Dr John Scott Burden-Sanderson's plates (Dionaea), and notes that their estimate of fourteen pounds is accepted. Rix asks when to expect proofs.

Also encloses spectra for Francis Gotch and Victor Horsley's plate, which they are to begin work on. Some copies will be needed for a meeting in a month's time, so they are to have a proof sent to the Society in a week or two.
