TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster [Royal Society]
Date5 October 1888
DescriptionUpdates on matters of Royal Society business.

Rix asks for Foster's medal claims as soon as possible, and states that he has not heard from Professor Ferrier.
Dr von Lendenfeld has asked to remove the type from his clarification headings and substitute in a special type on the last 15 slips. The volume of corrections already made will cost three pounds and 14 shillings, and the special type will raise the cost to around six pounds due to the text justification required. Rix asks if Foster believes this work to be worth the extra two pounds.
The Duke of Edinburgh has never been admitted, and Rix suggests he be privately moved to present himself for admission this session.
