TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Joseph Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date11 October 1888
DescriptionRix states that he sent Lockyer on the 8 October proofs of Professor Tacchini's medal claims, which he understood Lockyer wished to submit to Lord Rosse [Laurence Parsons]. If Lord Rosse returns them, Rix asks that they be promptly returned to the Royal Society with corrections or additions, as they must not go to press any later than the 16th.

Rix has encouraged Mr Collings to speed up as Lockyer wished.
