TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster [Royal Society]
Date13 October 1888
DescriptionUpdates on matters of Royal Society business, with a note at the end stating that although there is a week before the last day, Rix wants to progress matters as the interval for printing will be shorter than usual.

William Kühne's lecture has no communicator, but Rix assumes he may add Foster's name for continuity.
Encloses Government Grant applications B. 2, 6, 8, 11 and 14 to mark and return [not included].
A grant application to make an abstract of the Bible 'with scientific results' has been withdrawn.
George Stewardson Brady and A M Norman's application for a grant for plates to a work on Ostracoda was postponed last time, but Rix asks if there is any new information to enquire about.
The B reports were sent to Foster yesterday.
