TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor James Cossar Ewart, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date7 November 1888
DescriptionThe Raia batis and Raia circularis plates, number 66-68, have been printed off and are under one wrapper so the concluding sentences cannot be transferred as requested. Ewart will not receive another proof of the paper unless he requests one.

Rix also asks if the proof of plates which he will send tonight, is the one Ewart wants. No 'explanation of plates' can be found, so Rix speculates that the engraver may have it but Rix does not remember receiving it, so asks if it was sent to the Society and if so, who it was addressed to. If Ewart has a copy, they will print from that.
