TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Arthur Gamgee, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date13 May 1888
DescriptionOn 17 May the Royal Society sold Gamgee two volumes of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' for one pound and 17 shillings, and he handed in a cheque for that amount. Rix is unfortunately short in his catalogue money by that precise amount, and asks that Gamgee see if the cheque has been cashed and entered in his pass-book, which would indicate that Rix has mislaid it, or whether it is due to other causes.
