TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Williams & Norgate
Date17 November 1888
DescriptionIn reference to their postcard of yesterday, Rix reports that the Assistant Librarian of the Royal Society returned a number of the Aristolian Society's 'Proceedings' believing that the purchase would need to be voted for by the Library Committee. He did so without authority, and Rix apologises for the error.

Rix believes the 'Proceedings of the Aristolian Society' will be of particular interest, and encloses three pence in stamps if they will be kind enough to post them back to the Royal Society.
