TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Newport Langley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date9 January 1888
DescriptionSends thanks for Langley's answer about the report, remembering that the manuscript was presented for a meeting. Rix did not know that Langley wanted it back, so it is with the second referee, but it will be returned to him as soon as the referee returns it to the Royal Society. Also notes that they are sending the 1886 'Transactions of the Royal Society' in response to a request, with the parts for 1887 not due out in bound form until two or three weeks time.
