TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix , to J Power, Royal Observatory, Greenwich, S.E.
Date11 December 1888
DescriptionRix is glad of Power's success with the bar, and communicates that the Royal Society President thinks that he should send a report of three to four lines, which may be entered on the minutes, covering the precautions used in transit and the fact that the instrument was not touched by the customs authorities. Rix asks if this can be supplied prior to the next Council meeting on 20 December.
