TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer, Director, Royal Gardens, Kew
Date15 January 1889
DescriptionA response to Dyer's letter of 13 August which was brought before the Library Committee meeting, Rix is able to state that regarding their request for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' series B, the first volume published has already been sent.

With regard to their request for a standing application for 'Transactions' as published, Rix is able to agree to it due to a recent Council resolution.

In response to their other points, Rix quotes a resolution passed by the Library Committee and sanctioned by Council, namely that the numbers of 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' needed to complete the first volume will be sent without charge to the Royal Gardens, Kew, and that a copy of the new Library catalogue also be granted.
