TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Sydney Howard Vines
Date22 January 1889
DescriptionResponse to Vines note of 20 February, to state that they must do whatever they can to promote as useful a work as the 'Annals of Botany' and other works which cannot be obtained elsewhere will be located for Dr Schönland's use at the Royal Society. However, the list sent by Vines is very lengthy and has arrived at a busy time of the session for their sale assistant, and so he proposes that the Linnean Society and others have their share. Rix outlines the availability of the library for the use of Vines.

He also notes that aside from the Library's use for the purposes of this blibliography, they have had no copy of the work presented to them
