DescriptionAt a meeting on 18th January the President and Council resolved to join the union of the principal and scientific and literary corporations of the world, which is to be entitled 'The International Association of Academies' and has directed the Society to give formal notice to the academy of Berlin to that effect.

This resolution includes an approval of the decisions of the Wiesbaden Conference, and the Society requests the Academy of Berlin to regard this letter as the declaration of approval suggested in the provisional regulations of that conference.
