TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Karl Pearson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date15 January 1900
DescriptionHarrison has received authority to print for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' Harrison's paper on the Law of Revision. It has been put down for reading on Thursday week. The paper however is very heavy and difficult for 'Proceedings' work and Harrison questions whether the printers could get it set up and corrected by that date. It would also be expensive to order the usual 30 proofs of so long a paper. Asks if Pearson would approve of any other temporary arrangement for the requirements of the meeting, such as using a smaller number of proofs. Asks to know Pearson's preference in the matter.
