Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Abbott Herdman, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 12 March 1900 |
Description | Notes Herdman's future address.
Forsyth Major's paper is short for the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' but Dr Woodward, who communicates it, thinks it so importance that he wishes it to go forward for the 'Transactions'.
Is sending a long paper by Dr Vernon communicated by Professor [Edwin Ray] Lankester. The communicator does not think it sufficiently important for the 'Transactions', and the author can not cut it below 16 pages. The Secretary will not accept this on his own responsibility and asks Herdman's opinion. |
