DescriptionIn answer to Lebon's enquiry, the Royal Society does not print any notices of, or opinions upon, works presented to it. After acknowledgment of the gift, the book is catalogued and added to the library. Its title is however quoted amongst the annual list of accessions to the library, which is printed in the year book, a copy of which, when ready, Harrison will have sent to Lebon.
