DescriptionBaines' circular of 8 March was laid before the President and Council of the Society at their last meeting. A letter has been sent to the Marquis of Salisbury pointing out the desirability of including in the present Census Bill a provision for taking an intermediate census in 1906, as suggested in Baines' communication.
