DescriptionUnder the direction of the Royal Society and Royal Astronomical Society, an expedition is going to Alicante to observe the total solar eclipse. The Lords of Admiralty have conveyed the party from Gibraltar to the place of observation in 'HMS Theseus'. Lists party members. The Joint Committee of the two Societies will be very indebted for any assistance Biddulph can render to the observing party on its arrival in Gibraltar.
