TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Abbott Herdman, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 May 1900
DescriptionIn reply to Herdman's of 15 May, Professor Halliburton brought Dr Lindsay Johnson's paper before the Physiology Committee who appointed Professor [John Gray] McKendrick as their referee. McKendrick is ill and Sir M Foster suggests Professor D J Cunningham instead. Foster agrees to Herdman's Mr Beddard as Comparative Anatomy referee and will send the paper to him tomorrow.

Sir M Foster agrees to Herdman's proposal to ask Mr Vernon to cut down his paper but it is usual to reserve the question of a paper's rejection for the Committee.
