DescriptionThe Physics and Chemistry Committee decided at their last meeting that Townsend's paper should go to Professor [George Francis] Fitzgerald as second referees, whereas the paper was at the time in the hands of Professor S P Thompson in that capacity. Thompson has now reported on the paper and Harrison encloses both reports herewith [not attached]. In view of the reports asks if the paper may go forward for printing without being submitted to Fitzgerald.
