DescriptionWith reference to Scott's letter of the previous day, Harrison brought Scott's reply postcard before the Physics and Chemistry Committee and they directed Messrs Brown and Escombe's paper to be submitted to Professor [William] Ramsay and Professor [Hugh Longbourne] Callendar. It is now with the latter gentleman. They did not understand that Scott's Committee also was to deal with the paper and upon the papers return from the second referee, it will be submitted to Mr Darwin.
