DescriptionIs directed by the President and Council to ask the Secretary to convey to the Lords Commissioners of Admiralty their most sincere thanks for the great assistance they have given to the recent expedition to Spain for the purpose of observing the total solar eclipse. They are very grateful for the exceedingly valuable assistance given to the expedition by Captain V A Tisdall and the Officers and crew of the 'HMS Theseus'. Asks the Lords to convey the Society's thanks to the Captain and various listed Officers.
