DescriptionThe memorial signed by various Fellows of the Royal Society and others, transmitted by Poulton, and the covering letter signed by Poulton, Dr Sharp and Professor Weldon, were yesterday laid before the President and Council who resolved that the reasons laid before them, in the memorial do not seem to them adequate to induce them to take action in the matter.
