Date9 July 1900
DescriptionAmong the July Dividend Warrants just received is one of £351-4-11 on £4300 India three and a half per cent stock. This is the Society's old £3000 stock, with the accession of £1300 from the Kew Committee, the proceeds of the latter to be transferred over to the Agent of the Western Branch of the Bank of England, who will pay the same direct to the Kew account. The necessary requests for this course have been sealed in Council and sent to the Chief Accountant, but it is just possible that the documents did not reach the Chief Accountant before he had printed off the present form of Dividend.

Asks the Chief Accountant to let him know what the amounts of the July dividend is on the £1300 account B stock, the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] will pay it over to the Kew authorities. In future asks the Chief Accountant to see that the transmission requests which were sent to him on 22 June are carried into effect.
