TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society, Gordson Villa, HIghcliff-on-Sea, Hampshire
Date27 September 1900
DescriptionHas received Scott's letter of the previous day. Harrison wrote to Scott a few days ago regarding Mr [Arthur W] Hill's paper, asking for authority to proceed with it and to change the title in view of the postponement of the main part of the paper.

Regarding progress with Scott's own paper for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', Harrison has been in difficulty of wanting authority for proceeding but Sir M Foster is expected to return shortly and the easiest way to proceed will be to wait for Foster to authorize publication. The paper will ten go forward as rapidly as possible.

Asks if the copy of Scott's 'Fossil Botany' recently received was intended for Lord Lister or as a presentation to the Royal Society library.
