DescriptionWith reference to the Messrs letter of 16 July to the Treasurer [A B Kempe], Harrison encloses a cheque for the £4,000 Hughes bequest recently paid into the Trusts Fund Account. Asks the Messrs to apply that amount in respect of one moiety at £2,000 to purchase Bath Corporation three per cent stock. The remainder should be used to purchase Local Loans three per cent stock. Regarding the other stock mentioned in the Messrs letter, in which the Sylvester Medal Fund is presently invested, it has been decided to hold these investments for the present.
