TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Clerk of Works, Her Majesty's Office of Works, War Office, Pall Mall
Date15 October 1900
DescriptionAs part of the scheme for the re-organization of the electric lighting in the building the Council, on the advice of their Electric Lighting Committee, is making provision for the introduction of alternating current for experimental purposes, supplementary to the direct current with which the building is lighted. The supplementary installation involves the erection of a transformer chamber for which Harrison presumes the sanction of the Office of Works is required.
