TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Messrs Auld & Macdonald, 21 Thistle Street, Edinburgh
Date4 January 1901
DescriptionAcknowledges the Messrs letter of the previous day and in reply to their previous note of 24 December, the Society is now prepared to accept payment of Dr Gunning's bond at any time. The discharge will have to be sealed at a meeting of the Council of the Society, which will be next held on the 17 January. Discusses the interest on the bond and its payment.

Observes that the draft note sent varies in some verbal particulars from that which the Messrs forwarded a few weeks ago, and the latter being in some respects more accurate, Harrison is using it for reference and returns the later draft altered to correspond with the terms of the earlier one [not enclosed].
