Description | With reference to Lockyer's second hundred copies of the sun-spot paper, Harrison wrote to the printers at once on the subject and encloses their reply [not enclosed]. The printers had dispatched all the copies by the time they had heard from Lockyer. If Lockyer would like a parcel of 100 copies to go through the Board of Education, Harrison suggests that unless he can do so more directly, this might be done by returning 100 to Harrison & Sons and letting Harrison know, so that he could instruct the printers.
Asks if Sir Norman [Lockyer] thinks any further copies of his Preliminary Eclipse Report are required as the printers are enquiring whether they can distribute the type. |
