TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Ludwig Mond, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date6 February 1901
DescriptionMond asked Harrison some time ago to let him know before the Catalogue Committee met again, how matters stood regarding the offers made by Mond towards the undertaking of the subject index, the present financial position of the work in relation to Mond's donation, and the probable cost of completing the work the Society now has in hand.

Encloses a copy of correspondence and Council minutes in which Mond's intentions have been stated [not enclosed]. The expenditure of Monds' donation of £1500 which has been applied to the Subject Index is shown in the enclosed statement by which it appears that £152 of this fund now remains in hand. Discusses why estimating the probable cost of completing the work is difficult but provides some approximate figures.
