DescriptionAcknowledges Spring-Rice's letter, 12784/1900 of 27 July, informing the President of the Royal Society that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury agree that the Treasury guarantee in connection with the publication of the International Catalogue of Scientific Literature, shall become effective so soon as the total subscription list, including the contribution from the United States, but excluding official subscriptions from Austria, Hungary, Japan and Mexico, amounts to 253 sets, not 280 sets, as stipulated in the Treasury letter of 7 July.
