DescriptionThanks him for his letter regarding the [shoddy] reproduction of his plates. Assures him he wrote a strongly worded letter to the collotypers [Collotype & General Printing Company]. Explains he has asked them to respond with written assurance that they guarantee to improve on their plates. They have been informed they will only have Scott's new work on this condition, and when Scott has seen proofs and is satisfied.
