DescriptionProfessor G Darboux has confirmed the opening of the General Assembly of the Association is on 16 April. Garboux adds it is possible there will be a preliminary soiree at the Sorbonne on the 13 April to allow for an informal exchange of opinions among the delegates. Messrs Mommsen, Diels, Waldeyer, Helmert, van t'Hoff and Schuchard are coming from Berlin. Messrs Berthelot, Moissan, Marey, Lannelongue and Poincare are among the delegates from the French Academy. Has sent documents from other Academies and two maps to accompany the Geodetic Report.
