TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Robert Bellamy] Clifton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 April 1901
DescriptionHas changed the wording of the resolution in the Physics Committee meeting to 'Williams'. Mr Walker's paper was definitely to be reported against to the Council and not hung up on in the Committee, but that the third referee's criticisms was to be communicated to the author, who could send in his communication again as a fresh paper. Notes this is different from Clifton's proposal, which would keep the paper 'alive' in the Committee for amendment, which the Committee have decided not to do. Thanks him for calling attention to an omission from Sir [William de Wiveleslie Abney's] proof.
