TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr W Meyer, Weimarstraat 43, The Hague
Date7 May 1901
DescriptionSir Michael Foster desires to inform him that there are two letters from Spinoza to Oldenburg in the possession of the Royal Society. The first is dated 20 November 1665, is on three pages, each measuring 20cm by 15cm, and the address measures 8cm by 6cm by itself. The second letter, which is not dated, is on ten pages, each measuring 21cm by 16cm. There is no address on this letter.

There are objections to sending the letters out of the building, but Harrison can have them photographed. Points out Spinoza has many friends who can relieve Meyer of the expense of photographing the letters.
