| Description | The Royal Society has received a new paper by Karl Pearson on 'Mathematical Contributions to the Theory of Evolution. X. Supplement to a Memoir on Skew Variation'. Pearson suggests it for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Rucker says if Russell agrees then he will proceed with printing, or if he thinks the paper should be printed in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', then he will agree to that also.
The memoir 'Contributions to thw Mathematical Theory of Evolution. II. Skew Variation in Homogenous Material' was received in December 1894 and was referred to [George Howard] Darwin and [Francis] Galton, and was published in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]. Harrison asks whether the line should be broken by a 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' publication. Informs him the paper comes with three curves. |
