TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Herbert] McLeod, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date24 June 1901
DescriptionThe task that Harrison undertook to get carried out for McLeod is a more serious business that they anticipated. Mr Griffith has kindly tried his own hand on the British list and found it very awkward to compare with the Royal Society list, partly because of the great differences in the system of abbreviations, and partly because of the awkward arrangement of journals on the list. These difficulties will be considerably greater in dealing with the foreign list of serials, which McLeod also wants done.
