DescriptionHarrison has been authorized to communicate to them that in consequence of his appointment as Principal of the London University, Professor [Arthur William] Rucker will resign the Secretaryship of the Royal Society at the next anniversary. As there might be some notice of Rucker's new post in the next issue of 'Nature', Harrison suggests they may want to make a note of his resignation as Secretary.
