TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to The Clerk of the Works, H M Office of Works
Date30 July 1901
DescriptionHarrison sends a line to tell them that the 21 August will be the best date for the workmen to begin fitting the new main pipe, considering the corner of his drawing room will have to be pulled down. He is anxious for the work to be finished by the middle of September, and is taking it for granted they will re-paper the entire room afterwards.

Pointedly remarks he does not want another of his rooms spoiled after the manner of the study, which has been an eyesore ever since their workmen left it.
