TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Herrn J Schober, Karlsruhe, 10 Belfortstrasse, Baden, Germany
Date22 October 1901
DescriptionThanks Schober for his letter of 14 October. Has obtained from Dr [Dukinfield Henry] Scott his revision of the proofs Schober sent. These revised proofs were sent to Mr Frost in August but seem not to have reached Schober. Now encloses these proofs with the authors notes upon them [not enclosed]. Scott wishes to see revised proofs with lettering and Harrison asks for these as soon as possible. Discusses payment and explains that as this is the only work Schober has in hand for the Society they cannot admit that any outstanding claims Schober may have against Frost for other work can give him a right to retain originals belonging to the Society. Explains the difficulty the Society has had contacting Frost and provides the address of the Society's solicitors.

If this unfortunate business can be brought to a successful conclusion he sees no reason why future work should not be placed directly with Schober.
