DescriptionIn reply to Harcourt's letter of the previous day, Professor [Arthur William] Rucker had not seen Harcourt's letter of 12 November when Harrison sent Harcourt the information sought by it, but it will be laid before Rucker when he next visits. Harrison opens all letters addressed to the principal Secretaries and replies to all that he can.

Discusses the interpretation of the Statute Harcourt is querying in relation to L F [Leveson Francis] Harcourt's certificate, last suspended in 1897; Statute XII of Chapter I, page 42 of the Year Book.
